A Photogenic River

What makes a good picture of the river? Patience, a steady hand and a good eye. It's the same as any picture you might take. Like other pictures that might tell a story of a family outing or a get-together with friends, a good river picture makes you want to recount the occasion. 

In 2000, OAR sponsored a photo contest to highlight the many visual aspects of the Assabet River.  OAR continues to display photos from this contest https://experience.tripster.ru/tours/russia/krasnodarskiy_krai/ libraries and other public places from time to time.
